Who We Are
Mikes Tire Services opened in 1949 by owners Donald & Dorothy Weyhmiller. It started as a standard oil station. Then in the 1970's, they made the switch to AMOCO and had their own tank. Donald and Dorothy owned it until 1988, when their sons, Mick and Keith, bought the shop and took over ownership. Then, in 2019, Rick & Karen Mews bought it, they are the current owners.
November 13, 2024 marks its 75th year of being in business. It started as and continues to be a small family-owned shop & gas station.
Where did the name Mike come from? Well Donald got the “nickname” Mike in school because there were 2 Donald’s so his friends just started calling him Mike.
